RECREATION COURT USE POLICY EFFECTIVE: FRIDAY MAY 29th 2009
To provide for a standard mechanism for community use, protect our common facilities, and prevent
unauthorized use, the following measures have been approved by the Board of Directors for the Basketball
and Tennis courts.
BASKETBALL & TENNIS COURTS
Both courts will be locked at all times and a key will be issued to use them.
PROCEDURE:
- SR resident and/or family member contacts the Recreation Center/On-Site Office requesting to use one of the courts.
- Upon arrival at Recreation Center the respective homeowner and/or family member will provide proper I.D. (pool card,
driver's license, other photo I.D.) to verify residential authorization to use courts.
- Once verification is acknowledged by a Recreation Staff member the homeowner and/or family member will sign in on our
log(date, time, name, address, and key # assigned to open lock at court). The Recreation Staff will hold the picture ID/pool
card in exchange for the key.
- The homeowner and/or family member will be given the option to play for 30 or 60 minutes. At the end of that period of
time they will re-lock the court and return the Recreation Center Staff member with the key that was assigned to them.
Their name will be checked off the log reflecting conclusion of play.
- Courts will be locked while Recreation Center Staff supervision is on duty (10am to 10pm). During hours when
supervision is not present the courts will remain unlocked and available to homeowners and/or family members who
want to use the courts during the early AM time frame.
